There is so much happening around here and you can be a part!
Below you will find upcoming events as well as some things that happen on a regular basis. Whether you want to dip a toe in the water or dive on in, this is a place for you to belong!
Blessing Boxes
Dominican republic
hope center
October 20th (collection date)
Did you know:
the average Dominican family earns $10,000 annually
our hope center families live on $4,000 or less
This Christmas we can bless both the children and the families that are a part of our Hope Center in the Dominican Republic. By filling the provided blessing box, you can put a smile on a child’s face and help ease the Christmas burden from parents who are struggling just to survive.
Boxes will be available for pick up on Sept 22 & 29. Please return the filled boxes along with $15 for shipping back to The Refuge on October 20th. See suggested list for gift ideas.
(Please do not include candy, toothpaste, gum, used or damaged items, scary or war-related items, seeds, good, lotions, medications/vitamins, breakable items, glass containers, or aerosol cans)
Candyland Jamboree
community event
October 26th
3-5 pm
Invite your friends and neighbors: The Refuge is transforming into your favorite childhood board game. Kiddos can show off their costumes while adventuring through our land of candy and games.
Volunteers and candy are needed! You can continue to bring your candy to guest services until the event and sign up to serve here!
My Refuge is the self-paced online series that we use to share a little more about the history, vision, and beliefs of this church. Through My Refuge you can become a member of the church, discover more about small groups, take a spiritual gifts assessment, and even join the dream team (our amazing crew of volunteers who make this house feel like home).
Small groups are the best way you can really find your people. Groups are going on but many are open to jump into at any point. Make sure you take a look through our list of small groups to find the right fit for you.
